They snicker at
The bare woman;
I marvel at her
Nakedness.

She may be considered
A sin,
But I consider her beauty.

Of course, she may be
Pornographic,
But the naked that she
Wears,
The smile that she carries
With her naked body
Is something of a fascination.

If only we didn't HATE
Our bodies,
If only our own
Nakedness wasn't so
Frowned upon.

Because before us,
There should only be
you.

Before society,
There should be me.

And before a family
There should only be love.

While I was watching The Dead Poets Society in my high school English Class, I decided to write what I felt. This poem means a lot to me because not only did it impress my English teacher, it impressed my whole class.
