i, am
I am, an immigrant who came to this country
to live a better life, I did not came to be ridicled for being
a different race as others. I get made fun of for not speaking
this language as good as others
but sorry it's just not who I am.
I am someone who lives with a constant fear
of seeing my family get separated by people who don't
want us to make a living here because
"this isn't where we belong"
I am someone who to get what I want I have to work twice as hard as many people my age.
I gladly grew up to a society where we don't give up, we
keep on bringing ourselves up and make our mistakes
a lesson.
