"Rain"
I hear the mighty clap of thunder
As the silence of the world
Is shattered like crystal glass.
I listen to the pitter-patter
Of rain hitting my window-pane,
Sounding like a sweet, mellow lullaby
In the final hours of the day.
I stand outside,
And feel the cool, silver droplets
Kissing my skin with a feather-like touch,
As a tranquil spell embraces me.
