My Fear

Thrashing in the night
My throat feels closed tight
Fear swallows my world
Pain has unfurled
Eventually I wake
And realize my lifes not at stake
Yet I still feel the tension
Before I woke
I saw your face
And I can't erase
The thoughts that rose
As if I froze
Yet you're so far away
So many thoughts hold me at bay
I don't know why i've become so afraid
Maybe I just don't want to be lonely...
