I look at the griptape of you Mike
Wish you were still here with all of us
Not being able to skate with you
Wish you and your family the best cause you're my friend
Wish you were a little more careful that night
The grip resembles you and your power on a board
The big smile you had on your face no matter if you fell or landed
Always happy times
We all miss you more and more each day
Skating for you every night
Even though we all won't beas good as you
We will try and mimic you
But we will all see you soon
But just for now i'll look at the grip
And think of you

What inspired me to write about this is that my friend Mike just passed away and some of our friends made some grptape for skateboards with a picture of him on it.
