She and Me
Me
She is independant and strong
She is not represented by my skin, race, body, or looks
She is not a symbol, or a sign
She is herself, and nothing will change that
Others may talk, and insult
She won’t change for anyone else but me
She has have beauty within, and without
This She will never doubt
She strong, and bright
In hard time she will never back down in fright
She fails, but her determination pulls up her
She cries, but always stands back up
She can forgive
And she can always keep a smile
She is ME.
