Reset Our Love

I'm sitting here in the fading light,

Thinking about what happened last night.

You were spinning out of control,

I sat and watched as you drank your silent tears.

And now I running through the dark,

And I know you don't think I have a clue,

Your insides are all mixed up,

How can I just keep resetting our love?

Why do we have to pretend that there's no

Problem with the way you're losing control?

You smell like cigarettes and alcohol,

Where'd you go? I'll leave a message. Pick up!

How can I just keep resetting our love?

You say you're okay but I know

There's so much inside that never shows.

You continue pouring drinks for yourself,

"You're scaring me, please stop it!" I yell.

You've got me running through the dark.

Your insides, they are all mixed up,

Like the drinks you kept downing that night,

The night I saw you disappear.

Why do we have to pretend that there's no

Problem with the way you're losing control?

You smell like cigarettes and alcohol,

Where'd you go? I'll leave a message. Pick up!

How can I just keep resetting our love?

How can I just keep resetting our love?

I thought that you were in control,

I guess that I can't trust you now.

I guess I'll keep resetting our love...
