Myself
The day I was released from the darkness
Years have passed now
My first steps , My first test , My first success
two Years later, two teeth tumble
Mom is making meatballs
Dad is dancing in the den
Four Years later and things have changed
Dad has moved out and mom is all alone
Still talking to dad but only through the phone
Several more years pass
I am 11 years old now, Woody and Buzz soon have to go
My first day of 7th grade, no more running away
Two more years pass and I’m tall like a sequoia
First day of 9th grade and I’m as scared as Scooby Doo
Next year, I believe I will do better this year than the last
11th grade year , the hardest year I’ve changed so much and come so far
My tastes have changed, and so has my demeanor
Last year, time to say bye on the last day I’ll probably cry
Time to move though I’m scared , I can’t wait to see what happens out there
