The Divide
We live divided
Everything is either right or wrong
Black and white
Life isn't that simple
Life can't be that simple
We accuse others of hate
As we hold it in our own hearts
Unable to see how blinded we are
We accuse others of ignorance
Unable to understand that there is more than one idea
There is no right and wrong
No black and white
There is only a spectra of morality
Though it's one we can never agree on
And as the days pass
The divide worsens
The love dies
A society crumbles
United we stood
Divided we fell.
