As the surface of the ball was spun by the strings,
the ball continuously rolling forward
Until it made contact, and headed back, but into the net
As the the ball was let go, with severe backspin
curving as it makes its way to the glove
An opposing force, swung, missed.
The neon cleet was charging the ball
soon to make contact, but stolen, taken,
then brought back, scored.
Life is full, of those that miss
and those that score
the important lesson to remember
is to never give up.
