Small Genesis

We are all ineffable creatures,
Living in our own fulfilled room
Since the creation of the world.
Grids, four by four,
Contains us with mirrors.
The shape of our faces reflects
As a hollow oval.
No eyes, no lips,
Nothing else exists but the blurry silhouettes of our own egos.
But I know you are there,
On the other side of the wall.
Same as I do,
Drowning in your own little sea of loneliness.
Blindly, we struggle,
Looking for each other in our own little world.
Five seconds of waiting,
Five light years away from where your heart beats.
We are always getting closer
To infinity, to the end and the beginning.
Maybe some day when we finally meet
Grids will shatter and collapse, as
Air will tear everything into pieces
Except
You,
And me.
Then, for the first time,
We will have our lips to kiss,
Our eyes to see.
And the small genesis
Will then complete.
