In the cul de sac,
rain hitting my face,
tires slipping on the ground
every time I pedal harder.
The day before there was a thunderstorm,
the yards were overflowing with mud
running down the curbs into the freshly paved streets 
I'm constantly asking myself: is it worth taking the black and red mongoose out?
My tires were covered in bald spots
but i had to do it,
Slipping, sliding all over the road
riding so fast the mud and rain 
flinging off my tires
I had that brand new white spiderman shirt
Worth it? 
Mud flinging all over, clinging to the back of the shirt
Like a dirty, wet spider web
