I'm trying to understand
The way the world has turned
But the over-sensitivity of my nation
Has left my thoughts dry

Everyone gets upset over every little thing
So how can someone ever say what's really on their brain

People want peace
So they burn a building

People want kindness
So they smash store windows

By fighting in the wrong way
They discredit what they say
Their attempts at peacemaking
Just end in more pain

It must be realized that yes
You have rights
But your rights end where another's begin

You want kindness
Be kind

You want peace
Be peaceful

A hypocrite can't change the world
