Venus and Mars
Men are Martians.
Women Ventians.
From totally different worlds.
But stuck on the same planet.
The children play
Like fish in the sea.
Someday they will realize
Not everything is peachy keen.
A world divided.
A diamond in the rough.
Is the rough what makes the diamond or does the diamond make it rough?
The children are the future of us,
So why are we teaching them this way,
Full of hate and confusion
A world divided.
Where men are Martians
And women Ventians
And it just seems so,
No one can get along.
