What love has to offer
On the television or even in a novel
Love is bold
And pleasure gleams
People are content
And everything seems to Piece itself together
But this isn’t a movie or book
This is reality
It kills me eternally
From the heartbreak i despise so much
My heart begins to dissolve
I become drowsy
From the exhaustion of being let down
It would be an honor to find something
That doesn’t conclude in sadness
And i aspire for it everyday
Hoping someone comes along and proves me wrong
And shows me all the encouraging bits
That love has to offer
