Pictures
I press the shutter down
Halfway and wait for it to focus.
The “click” sounds
and I move my glance towards the screen.
I frown,
It’s so bland and boring
like everything else I create.
I take some more and pretend
They are the perfect images.
I grab the camera from my neck,
Move to a different location,
And start shooting again.
The thought won’t go away,
What if I tried my best,
and every shot is still
Not good enough?
I feel the sun’s warmth on my face
And look at my picture
I sigh and carry on
Accepting my life as it is.
