I'm shaking hands with the dark side of me
She's no longer who I wanna be
I have to be the original me
The one with goals and dreams
Who has a purpose of living life
Not letting life live for me
I'm jumping into the dark
Finding peace from the unknown
Letting go of my fears
I know what's here
It's just a little girl with mushy knees
Who runs away from boys and bees
That girl, that's me
I'm brushing the dirt off my shoulders
I'm not afraid anymore
