“I’m off to seek my fortune”
The words still ringing in my ears
Even more powerful
after all these years.
But fortune isn't measured
by the riches we reap.
Fortune really lies
in the company we keep.
Company is the most important
it is what keeps us whole.
Bonds that keep us tied,
No matter how far we'll go.
