But they’re also

Knives, pins, and needles

They,

Cut

And carve

And stab

And burn

And scar.

 

Words are words

But they’re also

Life, love and Band-Aids

They,

Help

And heal

And fix

And mend

And save.

 

Words are words
But they’re also what you make them.
