Blue Cupcake Frosting

My earliest memory is of eating blue cupcake frosting.
We were on my back porch
back in Austin, when I used to live there.
It was my second birthday,
a Blues Clues themed one.
I remember a tray of cupcakes next to the door
They were covered with frosting.
I picked one up
and tried it.
Food always tastes better in memories.
The frosting I had that day
was the best frosting I’ve ever had.
I will never forget that day.
