Ode to Mom
When the winter birds come
You will be my sun
And we will hold each other
Forever
And when the sea swallows the earth
I will be your boat
To keep you afloat on the
Troubled waters
If the grass is ever too high
You will be my sky
And your stars will guide me through the
Silent night
But if the skies are too gray
I will be the breeze
To push the clouds
And give you blue sky
If I am too young to understand
You will take my hand
And guide me through life
By my side
But when you can't seem to move
I will love you still
And we will hold each other
Forever.
