You and I
Plural: we
Remember when it was
Us?
The sleepless nights
Stolen kisses and talking about nothing
"I love you"?
Because even though you and I are still conjoined it's no longer
Us.
Something is missing and I know it isn't just me that feels it
You can hear it in the empty words
Feel the worthless touches and kisses
I love you, am loving you, loved you
But that's not enough anymore.
Whisper me sweet nothings because that's how I remember
Plural: we
But now it's just you and I
