I don't think I've ever napped for this long,
Mom usually wakes me up.
The smells are strange,
My bed feels cold.

I hear mom calling my name,
Why does she sound so far away?
Every time I try to respond nothing comes out,
This talking thing is hard.

My body is tingling up and down,
My stomach is rumbling all around.
I hear so many people in my bedroom,
I don't want to play now,
I'm trying to nap!

I hear new voices calling my name,
Was is my birthday again?
I'm getting hungry,
And I think the bad smells are coming from me.
I usually make this wretched noise and then someone comes for me,
I'll try.

This nap is very long,
I wonder if mom and dad are okay.
At least I have some red berries I can lick,
They don't taste the best, I'll tell mom later.

Wait!
Mom told me to never go with strangers!
Who are you?
Why do you want me?
Go away!

Look it's mom!
I'm okay mom, I'm okay.
Some man took me away from nap time,
I'll sleep in a little bit.
For now, I'm hungry!
