Love is a rose
As red as the sunrise
A kiss on the nose
And smiling eyes
Love is a timid hug
Lingering uncertainty
A constant push-and-tug
Speaking wordlessly
Love is surrender
A bargain for affection
A simple treasure
A single confession
Love is a promise
Until the sun sets
Something of solace
Yet exciting unrest
