tough times
Tough Times(Journal Entry #15)
I don't get it.
Why?
Why do you have to be so mean?
Tell me I'm nothing.
Tell me I'm less than you.
Put me down like.
Treat me like a dog.
When I am the same,
I'm a human.
I have feelings,
And they can be hurt.
But they don't care.
They never have.
I just wish things could be different.
I wish we could be equal.
But we are not!
Even after all children
and their children's children
Have grown up in this hatred.
Have to live with this hate.
Against us.
But I just wish I could be equal
We could be equal
For once.
