Taking The Big Step

Taking a big step, my life jumps forward
From now, to my old, gray figure, wise and accepting
I take two big steps back
I see my innocence, my purity, my untainted self
I take one more big step forward
I'm here, taking small steps forward
I'm uncertain, I'm tainted, I'm none too wise
But I still take small steps forward.
