February
February is the in between month
The last month before spring
The undecided month
Happysadmadglad month
Almost spring – not quite yet
Be my valentine – too many hallmark cards month
Numbing cold or snow melting warm month
Deceiving month
One moment
The sun shines bright
The next day
The sky is a cold blanket of gray
Always undecided
Just like me
I find that every month
Mirrors my mood
But I wish
That It would be spring or summer
Even if
They might not mirror me
At least I would
Have something happy to write about
Even if
It might be fake
But, for now,
I just have to be content
With the fleeting moments
Of happiness and warmth
And to hope
That the sky is not too gray
On Valentine’s day.
