Old Friends
Dear Old Friends,
It’s been awhile since we talked. Since it happened. Just know I don’t blame you now, you were doing what you thought was best, even if it was selfish.
Dear Old Friends,
I’m okay now, I got back up on my feet. I still breathe the same air you do, I’m around. I see you laughing, I wonder if you still think about it.
Dear Old Friends,
I’m screaming for you to see me, I’m angry, I’m upset. I want to go back to that day and never open your message. I almost hate you.
Dear Old Friends,
Can't you hear me! I’m begging for you to notice! I’m carrying hate in my heart, I want you to feel the pain I felt.
Dear Old Friends,
I’m not angry. I’m no longer begging for you to listen. What you did is okay. I don’t hate you, I never did.
Dear Old Friends,
I love you now, everything is mended. We fixed the broken pieces.
Dear Old Friends,
I hope you’re okay now, I must say goodbye.
Dear Old Friends,
Thank you.
