Long Lost Friend MAG
Random thoughts roaming through my mind
Like the sensation of finding old memories
in your baby book
I can’t remember how we lost touch
But I remember everything we shared
It’s been two years
And I still can’t get you off my mind
Every little thing somehow brings
back remembrance
If I recall
You lived five houses down
Your parents split up
And you moved to your dad’s
Trying to remember what happened
Maybe it’s because you moved
Maybe we got older and things change
Maybe you found better friends
Or maybe I was never good enough
I still see your shiny black mustang
pass by my house
Or hear your music blaring
As you go visit your mom’s house
And I just think to myself
Missing you comes in waves
And tonight I’m drowning
