I cannot do it that’s what they told me.
But I did it I’m here
I wish you were here with me
To push me through to create a path
But the alcohol that burns my throat
and eases my mind
blinds me.
I let it lead me through
It knows I can’t go back when I’m blinded by its power
Brother I need you
I cannot keep drinking they told me
So I didn’t
Now I’m here
Isolated, alone
The name of Johnny Cash is all talk now in the music world
Dad knew I couldn’t do it now I’m starting to believe him to.
