Unseeing
Unseeing
People are blind
Although their eyes are open
They do not see the world as it truly is
I can see what that person’s appearance is
Yet I am still blind to who they are
People pretend they see all
When the truth is they are more blind than the others
We go to war for blind reasons
Fighting blind people
Praying our sightless leaders won’t take us down with them
Who are they to tell us how it is?
Blinding us further through their words and leading the blind to cages to trap them
There are the special few who can truly see
And try to warn us of the dangers ahead
But alas
We still refuse to see the world how it truly is
Look at the world, for what it really is
Don’t be blind
