Night's Embrace
As your day slowly fades, night falls to calm.
Life to death, day to night, pride to demise,
Sorrow to anger and fear to hate.
Love, as water, washed all pain away.
Your life you’ve seen it all, darkness and light.
Purities and imperfections alike.
Your eyes they bleed within my own, you see.
That’s why I calm you with night’s embrace.
The moon, it glows softly as you sleep.
Your slumber, the peace resides within you.
Your heart, your love, it’s been torn apart.
That’s why you must rest your weary heart.
I’ll hold you as you gently trust my arms.
As we dance, don’t worry, I’ll be your one.
I’ll hold your heart as you hold my love.
Darling don’t fret we are one and above.
