The Baby Whale

Playful- an understatement.
Curious- of course he was!
A crowd pleaser- no doubt about it.
Every time he jumped into the spotlight, camera’s flashed,
eyes widened and people awed, followed by cheering.
Stealing the show, he’s the center of attention.
Suddenly, the boat is bumped. It wobbles.
Everyone gets near the edges, ready to capture the moment.
Hands reach out, he’s famous!
A breech in the sunlight- like a fish out of water.
Tail flips and flippers slapping,
so young and so rare, how could one forget?
It was a whale of a time.
