Seasons Change, but Not My Feelings For You

Your heart is as warm
As august sunshine,
Our love is so priceless,
And stands test of time.
I’m trying my best
Not to be so cliche,
But knowing you’re mine,
Makes me shimmer and shine.
Words cannot describe
How much you mean to me,
Like miracles at Christmas,
We’re just meant to be.
My love for you,
Like a fierce raging river,
Is higher than pine trees
Growing tall upon the hill.
Purer than the snowflakes
That fall late December.
