the wind blew
through broken windows.
scattered leaves
ran across
the deserted street.
an eerie creature
ran in the shadows,
stalking the young blonde
through the broken pavement.
the screams falter
for only a moment,
as if they can’t anymore.
the creature draws closer
to the innocent blonde
a wall falls,
setting her off course.
now the creature is lost,
for his next kill
faltered.
