In Teen Jeans
I’m roughly just a teen,
With my whole life right in front of me-
You can tell by my skin-tight jeans.
My innocence can be seen just as free.
With so many decisions and such high stakes,
My future, my life lies in my hands.
Being young and dumb can cause so many aches,
So many distractions to spin me away from my plans.
Losing friends along the way,
Sometimes the stress and sadness gets the best of me.
The more work, the more I just want to play,
Sometimes I just want to flee.
