Maybe
And so everyone says
That maybe one day
Everything could be normal.
And perhaps life wasn’t ever intended to be ordinary
Or maybe it is completely conventional beyond the eye.
And if I was told that by a faded
Especially dwindled brain
I’d believe it.
And so the masses babble about something unique
Yet incredibly, painfully ordinary.
And each human says
That maybe one day the world could be anew
Or possibly strange enough to be so.
But no one would know.
Imagine that.
