I see the rain fall down the window
Life’s too fast when all you do is move slow
Feels like I’m a hollow tree
Literally no feelings left inside of me
Put up a wall so I never get too close
To those I know will hurt me the most
Learned to never trust people
Because everyone ends up trying to defeat you
Don’t listen to others when they try and put you down
Just look in the mirror and see that beautiful crown
You were born this way to live out your purpose
Always love your mother because she the one who birthed us
Never be afraid to cry and let your feelings out
When you get frustrated don’t try and keep the words in your mouth
Speak your mind and other will understand
You walk around with more pain than they can comprehend
Sometimes people judge books by their outer page
Until they read and see what they have to say
Bottling all this up will never work out in the end
All you will do is make your mind painfully bend
Everyone is amazing in their own way
Unique stories that can be told for days
Time is precious cherish it with those you love
The next time you see your mother give her a hug
Never be ashamed by your qualities
Be happy with what you have not the quantity
