Won't you manifest in our destiny

Bring out the parts of me

That the world has never

Bring your innovations into my life but,

Don't threaten my education

Of being

Bring your telegraph and press the operator button

So our electricity can spark up a conversation

You are the east and I the west

Travel by carriage, horse, or boat

And bring all of your findings

We will run like the bulls

Together

Feed off their energy

Have your farmers plant our story

They will weed out

Indifference and apathy

So we can never lose interest in one another

Our roots will sprout into a beautiful rhododendron

Your red passion blending with the innocence of white

Making the nurturing colors of pink

The ships you bring me be not for war

But for the hopeless romantic dates

Floating down the calm river

Watching

The blue water clashing with the crimson sun

The blinding sunlight impeding my vision

Then I focus back on you

You bring me light where clouds used to be

May your light outweigh my dark

Your essence piercing me

Like I am a dog with

Pearched ears

And you are screaming

May this not be a dream anymore

May this become someday

Please manifest in our destiny
