What am I to you?

To some I'm a doll, other's, a toy.

But the best by far is used.

When you're asked what it means to 'play a game'

You simply say, "Leanne".

I am the inexperienced gamer

You are the definition of a player.

To you, I am dirt, scum.

I am the dusty book under your bed

The one you forgot to return in 7th grade.

To you I am the broken, the nobody.

Where do I fit in?!

Am I not good enough for your high expectations?!

So high that you look down and spit?!

No.

I am what you taught me.

Nothing.

But I am also what you are afraid of

So run little boy, run and hide.

Because what you get is what you deserve.

And don't think sorry will fix this,

It won't even compensate.

You CHEATED me.

Like a math test you didn't study for.

You USED me.

Like a junkyard car.

And you PLAYED me.

Like a board game.

But I won't let you win anymore.

I'm not going to let you get into my head.

And I sure as hell am not going to let you try.

But don't you worry now,

I won't talk crap.

I won't be rude.

Know why?

Because NOBODY deserves the pain you have put me through.

I hope you learn

Because one day you will learn what it's like to mean nothing

To someone who means everything.

I think the better question is,

What am I to Me?
