They were from two parties, and
together they were like toxic stew,
yet the connection between them
could not be broken.
Elizabeth heard Paul loud and clear,
“We’re not for anyone else.”
Together they were floating, yet
their families disapproved, but
Elizabeth and Paul were calling the shots.
They were sick of a broken country, and
started running. They wanted to
change the agenda, slash two parties,
and bunch together as one.
