There was no understanding,
no recognition,
no humanity.
Assuming that humanity is a
positive force,
Most of us can attest to its
capacity of cruelty.


II. Me


My captor
My prison guard
My demon
He goes by many names
None of which are
Myself


III. The Gun


Silver, cold, metal
Harsh and harmless
Dead living
Trigger
Drop
