"We are all Born ignorant, one must work hard to remain stupid." - Benjamin Franklin

Greed is a dark hole,
Swallowing up your friends
Leaving you to fall,
Never living, to your end.
Taking up your life,
Leading you to stealing.
Living with many wives,
Robbing you of feelings.
The black hole is closing up,
Escape while you can.
Fly away with your dark cape,
And turn it silver again.

I read Emily Dickinsons' poem Fame is a Fickle Food and was inspired to write my own metaphor poem.
