Horrors of Spiderman

Swinging through the dark, starry sky.
Many heads turn and eyes widen as they watch me fly.
Saving people left and right.
Fearful of that one dreadful night.
That one night I fail to save a person in need.
On that day I will feel as if I have committed a bad deed.
I pray the day never come when my identity is revealed.
On that day I will feel as if a layer of me has been peeled.
Afraid of the day I wake up and my powers have departed.
On that day I will feel half-hearted.
