A marriage of many years
A commitment of love
Of loyalty
Of trust
A promise of “‘till death do you part”
A lie
A selfish night
A night that ruined the perfect family
A collection of text messages and phone calls kept secret
So why?
You made a promise you couldn’t keep
You broke her
But she is no longer broken
She found someone who can keep their promise
So thank you for being selfish
Because of your mistake
She learned she deserves better
