"That Day"
They say ‘“Sticks and stones will break your bones, But words will never do’’
Sticks and stones will break my bones
But words will too.
In her case it was the rumors
The rumors spread like tumors
At first she didn't mind them
Until they made her blind.
She wanted to resign
I couldn't see why.
What was she thinking that night
I told her to keep up the fight
But she wanted to be alright
She wanted to see the light
The pills she took were fine
But it was how many at a time
The overwhelmingness of her thoughts
Made her distraught
She just wanted it to end
She just wanted a friend.
As the days go by
My memories make me cry
The one on that beautiful-bright day
Those balloons that went far-far away
With the colors of Pink,Yellow, and Blue
With the message that said” I love you”
Oh how I miss you dearly
Rest in peace aunt B

About a year ago I lost my best friend, my aunt. She always wanted me to be sucessful. She always pushed me to be my very best. When she died I will say it felt like i lost a pice of myself. It was really hard to deal with. She was the person to inspire me to write this.
