Dying Plant
You have been without sunlight for far too long, and beacuse of this, you wilt.
Your leaves wrinkle and droop, and form a gray shade of death
making it's way to your roots.
I see the way you cling to life like a mother to her babe.
Your fight is long but your hearts is strong;
you'll make it through this time.
I will lift you up and place you in the windosill
the light will shine onto your wilting grace.
And just to see you green again will bring a smile unto my face.

This was written for a simple school assignment, but it means something much more to me.
