Nails
3:27 is left on the clock and Merrick is up by four
Your son Tom knows what to do
You're down to the nibble with little time to go
Your co workers know
Your wife knows
Your son knows
Number 16 passes the ball down field to the two yard mark
No way this doesn't happen
You look down as the taste of blood sends a gag reaction throughout your body
As you look up you see number 16 take it and all that can be heard are heads clash,
your son hits the ground
The ball comes out of your son's hands just like you
You dropped the ball
You put down the $5000
Now you don't know how you're going to get back up
You don't know if Number 16 is going to get up
Your son knows he fumbled it
But you lost it.
