Sweater Weather
Sweater Weather
The moon is big and red
while you’re cozy in your bed.
The colored leaves blowing around,
all over the ground.
Your flannel picked out, for tomorrow.
Summer is over,
there’s no time for sorrow.
The tractors are pulled,
into the orchards that are full.
Pies are being made,
so you can stuff your face.
Your lantern is flickering,
there is no time for bickering,
It’s the best time of the year
there is nothing but cheer.
The night is going to come,
for the kids to have fun.
Getting more candy,
than the beaches are sandy.
Fall is the best
so grab out those vests,
don’t forget the sweaters,
and enjoy the perfect weather.

This piece was inspired by the love and happiness me and many people experience when fall rolls around.
