Time of dying
Comes at night
Lighting his way
to freedom
From all his worries.

He wishes every night
for it to come
But it never comes
Leaving him alone once again
In pain.

To outrun his companion
In the race to be the best
He loses.

Thrown to the hard, cold ground
He whimpers and calls for death to come
soon.
